Can't you just picture Prince William and Princess Catherine (yay!) snuggling up by this fireplace?!?

Jackie and John F. Kennedy are about the closest thing we have in American to a royal couple and although their marriage didn't end well, their wedding photos bring a smile to my face! Tick-tock, the countdown continues—less than 24 hours to an actual royal wedding....

There's nothing like a quintessential British afternoon tea complete with scones and crustless sandwiches. I think it will be the perfect afternoon pick-me-up to this Friday's morning-looong coverage—hope you can make it!

Ever since I saw Janie Schoenborn's (design director of Lilly Pulitzer no less) candy-colored bar cart in Ivy and Piper's April/May Issue (page 63), I have been thinking of bar trolleys, cocktail napkins, and swizzle sticks. Combine that with Brit classic Alfie and we have ourselves a little cocktail party...Chin-Chin!

In just four short days all eyes will be on Kate Middleton and the royal wedding. Even though the never-ending coverage is getting a little, well, never-ending, I'm still excited for the wedding and cannot wait to see her dress. Any other anglophiles out there?!?
p.s. Out with the old and in with the new....I gave KELLY MARKET a mini-makeover last night—love to hear your thoughts!

Happy Earth Day! Staying chic and helping the planet (and yourself!) is easier than ever thanks to products and companies like these. My latest obsession is Tata Harper's skincare line—made on her farm in Vermont, the entire line is 100% natural and non-toxic. Have a green weekend!

Perusing the produce, sampling homemade jams and honeys, and picking up fresh flowers is one of the best ways to spend a Saturday morning. Our favorite farmers' market in Atlanta just reopened for the year—the Peachtree Road Farmer's Market at St. Philip's Cathedral for those of you in the area. I can't wait to take a stroll this Saturday!

Whether out running errands or stopping into the market, one should never be without a shopper or tote. For packable totes, Baggu is my favorite. They come in a huge array of colors and prints—including stripes and even a darling elephant. I've also been eying an Iomoi monogrammed tote for quite some time. Their totes come in five sizes and are available in their usual signature prints and you can even upload a custom design. Besides, who doesn't love a monogram—I know I do!

Liya Kebede is one of my favorite models—did you know she's also an actress and World Health Organization Goodwill Ambassador—and I also love her line Lemlem. Meaning "to bloom" or "to flourish" in Amharic, Lemlem is handmade in Kebede's native Ethiopia from natural cotton and helps preserve the ancient art of weaving. I love the bright colors and the lightweight cotton—perfect for what's sure to be another hot summer!

We're back with Shannon Wollack and a few of her summer essentials and daily rituals. Some of you might recognize Shannon's husband, comedian Brad Wollack, from Chelsea Lately (I know I did). I love that she goes on daily walks with a longtime friend to get coffee and fresh juice—sounds like the perfect way to begin the day. If only Pressed Juicery were around the corner from me... And of course Shannon and I are currently carrying the same bag—my forever favorite, a Balenciaga—hers in yellow, and mine in black :) Thanks so much Shannon!
Happy Friday! I'm so pleased to introduce you to the latest in our Must-Haves series, Shannon Wollack. Shannon is the owner of Life.Style., a boutique company based in Los Angeles that focuses on styling, interior design, and events. From her orange Goyard bag and WhoWhatWear obsession to her love of Waylande Gregory and Irene Neuwirth baubles—Shannon is definitely my kind of gal :) Stay tuned Monday for a few of Shannon's summer essentials and favorite resources!
Shala Monroque has been on my radar for quite some time now. I really admire her fearless style and she always manages to stand out from the crowd—easier said than done. It's hard to pick a favorite look, but the hot pink Jason Wu dress and blue turban is perfection in my book. Shala was until recently the editor-at-large at Pop Magazine and has kept mum about the details of her new project...I can't wait to hear what she's up to!

Sometimes all you need is a little pop of color to make an outfit or room come together. How darling is the pale mint vase with the chrysanthemum bud on the side? I don't even think it needs a flower!

I take my rain gear very serious—some might say a little too serious. April's unpredictable weather means I must always be prepared with umbrellas, wellies, and trench coats at the ready. This spring I am really loving Sperry Top-Sider's Cormorant Slip-Ons. J. Crew has them in white, mango, and yellow and I think I might just have to get myself a pair—they will be a much needed break from the Hunters routine.

Though I'm typically more of a print type of gal, I do enjoy a dose of graphics like those we're seeing in the color block trend lately. Mark Rothko is a favorite artist of mine and I never tire of his work. His paintings are available in so many colors I know I can always find one to coordinate with whatever room or gallery I'm trying to match. I think the print I have shown will look perfect amidst a group in my freshly painted blue hallway—the blues will look perfect against each other.

I'm heading off to Augusta for the weekend for the Masters, which is known as "a tradition unlike any other." Besides the famous pimento cheese sandwich, the Azalea cocktail is a must-have for enjoying the afternoon (and the golf, obviously). Sipping one underneath a green and white striped umbrella on the perfectly manicured lawn sounds like the perfect way to take in the golf to me....have a great weekend!
Tea-Time at the Masters and the accompanying series are wonderful cookbooks produced by the Junior League of Augusta that include recipes from players and their wives like crab casserole from Mrs. Jack Nicklaus and zucchini bread from Mrs. Arnold Palmer. It's a wonderful gift for any golfer and a great cookbook!

Although I tend to stay true to the classics, there is always an element of bohemian style lurking in both my wardrobe and home. Those who know me well can easily identify my flowing blouses and tunics and stacks of bracelets and necklaces. I am welcoming with open arms the return to seventies style this spring...not that it really ever left my closet!
Also, the second issue of High Gloss Magazine is officially live! I'm so excited to be a contributor—be sure to check out the Mother's Day Gift Guide on page 19. The entire issue is really great and it's wonderful to be a small part of it :)

Finding a fab deal in a vintage shop is one thing, but navigating eBay or Etsy like a pro is quite another. For me it's all about using the right search terms and searching, searching, searching. Rarely do I stumble upon that perfect piece the first time I set out to look for it—it takes time and plenty of patience to find it. On eBay, I keep a running list of saved searches of items I'm currently looking for. On Etsy, I save favorite shops and items in the favorites folder and consistently search for those items. As the saying goes, finders, keepers!
