1 Coral on Lucite Base, Furbish Studio, $45.00 2 Lavender Spotted Silk Pillow, Furbish Studio, $45.00 3 Lacquer Boxes, Jules Reid, $195.00 each 4 Set of 2 Pink Foo Dogs, Chic Shop, $265.00 5 Clear Nesting Tables, CB2, $195.00 6 Ceramic Elephant, Z Gallerie, $49.95 7 The Harbour Island Pant, Jules Reid, $162.50

Who doesn't love Jules Reid? I, for one, cannot get enough of very colorful and patterned, beyond chic clothing line. Needless to say, I was pretty excited to see her home featured in the February issue of Matchbook (see page 84). Jules' home was exactly as pictured: a laid-back mix of framed Pucci scarves, lucite tables, Madeline Weinrib rugs and pillows, and lots of vintage pieces. This gal knows her stuff — not only is she an amazing clothing designer, but also a pretty fab interior designer :)

I can hardly contain my excitement....Furbish, one of my absolute favorite stores, has just revamped and expanded their website. Upholstered headboards! Vintage rugs! And did you see those leopard print stools?! Need them now. Hop on over to Furbish and use the code newfurb to get 15% off your order through March 3....I know what's going in my cart :)

I've got jewels on the brain after last night's red carpet — anyone catch Natalie Portman's bling? Loved it :) I first spotted these cross cuffs in the Baublebar bracelet line-up and my heart skipped a beat....truly, they have Kelly written all over them. Then I noticed this gem and this one with the bows. I think it's fair to say, I want them all!

It's hard to escape Oscars fever this week, with the show only two short days away. I thought it would be fun to take a look at some favorite Oscar looks and reimagine them for today. Which is your favorite? I think I'm partial to Audrey Hepburn's original look, but would go for Lauren Hutton's "reimagined" look today :)

It seems like just a few short months ago we were reading about the sale of this very fabulous Southampton manor to Tory Burch and now here we are, already viewing decorated rooms and manicured lawns on Vogue. Tory collaborated with two longtime friends: the architect and designer Daniel Romualdez and decorator Eve Hood, a friend from her college days at Penn. There's a great piece by Hamish Bowles in addition to a few more pictures you won't want to miss. Especially the neo-Georgian façade, which has me weak in the knees :)

Whether your Oscar viewing involves hosting your own soiree or simply curling up on the sofa, glam it up a notch with some gold touches and most definitely a little bubbly. After all, you'll want to toast the beginning of the evening....the red carpet, of course!

P.S. If you still haven't seen all the best-pic nominees (I sure haven't...), you're in luck. AMC Theatres is hosting an Oscar Marathon Event this Saturday....exciting, yes?!

I'm pretty much a sucker for ginger jars and pretty vases I can make up excuses to buy flowers to fill. And with one look at Emilia Ceramics zig zag and stripey line-up, who wouldn't be in love? Now to pick a favorite...decisions, decisions!

Yellow Patent Watch, Pink Patent Watch, ASOS, $44.76 each | Small Nylon Pouch, Furbish Studio, $12.00 | Leopard-Print Scarf, Old Navy, $16.94 | Gem Coaster Set, Furbish Studio, $55.00 | Crewel Prism Pillow, Urban Outfitters, $39.00 | Crewel Embroidered Zig Zag Pillow, Urban Outfitters, $39.00 | Decorative Red Box, Target, $19.99 | Ceramic Camel, Z Gallerie, $59.95 | Orange Mesh Bags, Sephora, $10.00 - $28.00 | Maize Woven Storage Basket, Target, $39.99

Budget Buys is one of my favorite posts, because, let's be honest, everyone loves to score something chic for cheap. I know I certainly do! One of my favorite items is this leopard scarf from Old can never have too many leopard accessories. I also love these brightly hued watches from ASOS that look way more expensive than $45.00. Valentine's Day might be behind us, but I'm still in a hot pink mood...this might be the perfect accessory!

1 kate spade Gumdrops Earrings, Zappos Couture, $38.00 2 Carlos Falchi Zebra-Print Clutch, Last Call, $60.00 3 Large Square White Vase, Small Square White Vase, Crate & Barrel, $7.95 - $9.95 4 kate spade Baublebox Bib Necklace, Zappos Couture, $278.00 5 Circle Scarf, Diane von Furstenberg, $185.00 6 Airplane Kit, Diane von Furstenberg, $48.00 7 Santo Suede Point Court Shoes, ASOS, $98.48 8 Diane von Furstenberg Mini Harper Bag, Bloomingdale's, $295.00 9 Rodrigo Otazu Floral Hinged Cuff Bracelet, Endless, $390.00 10 Black and White Spotted Pillow, Furbish Studio, $50.00

While I love to look at the latest collections during Fashion Week, I honestly tend to get even more excited about the street style. Anyone else feel this way? Some of my favorites outfits (no surprise here) were the bright prints seen on Solange Knowles and Oroma Elewa, and Elisa Sednaoui's solid hot pink chic. Do you have any street style favorites? Do tell!

Snakeskin and Mint | Mint | Watermelon | Hot Pink | Pink Glitter | Citron | Topshop, $32-36

I've had my eye on these colorful ballet flats from Topshop the past few weeks. After all, with temperatures in the sixties I've hardly had the need for my usual winter boot line-up. I noticed this week they added even more styles — faux snakeskin and a few glittery hues, which aren't as tacky as they sound :) And at $36 a pair they're a steal...can you say, yes, please?!

I'm so excited to be kicking off our very first "Ask Kelly" post with one of my favorite table books! I look for two things in a great coffee table book: a great cover and great content. I'm not going to lie, my shiniest and prettiest books take center stage in my living room. But, they are also some of my favorites and are within arm's reach if I have a down moment or need some inspiration. And I can't tell you how many times a guest has commented on the selection or even browsed through one of the books...something to keep in mind.

Most of the books on my coffee table can be placed in one of these categories: fashion, décor, or photography. I buy a big range of the three because that's what I enjoy the most...always buy what you love! Especially if you're growing a collection.

Thanks so much for your question Julie and best of luck on your hunt for new coffee table books!

xo, Kelly

P.S. I often use books from consignment stores to do my "stacking" point in hiding a good cover!

Well my friends, we've finally made it to Valentine's Day and I promise tomorrow to start resuming non-pink or love-related topics. But today we're still focused on all things love, or at least its color counterparts. Wearing pink and red head to toe with aplomb like Dree Hemingway or SJP takes a certain skill. As does painting your living room bubblegum pink and throwing in a large red sofa, à la Miles Redd. Personally, I can't think of a more appropriate combination for today, can you? :)

1 Roman Holiday, $8.49 2 Jacques Fath Vintage Maxi Skirt, Farfetch, $200.00 3 Sailor Stripe Red Silk Scarf, kate spade, $100.00 4 Chanel Hydrating Crème Lip Colour, Saks Fifth Avenue, $32.50 5 Natural Fabric Espadrille, Jildor, $31.50
sale 6 Crystal Collar Necklace, Macy's, $199.00 7 Vespa S 150 8 Passport Holder, Graphic Image, $60.00

I'm a sucker for romantic films and certainly any starring Audrey Hepburn. Roman Holiday was her first leading role and one for which she won the 1954 Oscar for Best Actress, instantly catapulting her into major world stardom. Between the sweet storyline and Edith Head designed costumes, it's a favorite of mine. If you haven't seen it yet you simply must!

With fashion week officially kicking off yesterday, I thought it would be fun to take a look behind the scenes inside a designer's home. Luckily for us, InStyle featured the lovely Rachel Roy's apartment in their March issue. I'm a huge fan of the designer's effortless style and her apartment did not disappoint. The vintage sari rug, large cherry blossom branches, and those bookshelves (did you see they are outlined in orange??)'s all so chic!

p.s. Please excuse the poor quality of the images...I scanned them in from the magazine!

Alberto Pinto: World Interiors by Alberto Pinto and Julien Morel, Flammarion, $45.84 | Impact: 50 Years of the CFDA by Patricia Mears, Abrams, $37.42 | The Way We Live in the Country by Stafford Cliff, Rizzoli, $26.37 | Loris Azzaro by Jéromine Savignon, Assouline, $25.00 | Escape Hotel Stories: Retreat and Refuge in Nature by Francisco Mattéoli, Assouline, $45.00 | Nemours: A Portrait of Alfred I. duPont's Home by Dwight Young and Grace Gary, Rizzoli, $26.40 | Paris Versus New York: A Tally of Two Cities by Vahram Muratyan, Penguin, $13.60 | The Light of Istanbul by Jean-Michael Berts and Alessandra Ricci, Assouline, $65.00

Of all the recent publications, I'm most excited about Paris Versus New York: A Tally of Two Cities. The book is a showcase of the author's side-by-side illustrations of the two cities comparing the likes of the Eiffel Tower vs. Statue of Liberty, Metro vs. Subway, Sonia vs. Anna, and more. Muratyan also sells prints of his illustrations on Society6.

When Valentine's Day falls mid-week, as it does this year, we usually prefer to skip the crowded restaurant scene and have a cozy evening at home. We usually like to cook together (I think it's more fun that way, don't you?) and this menu featuring sole and a lovely frisee and green-apple salad sounds delicious to me. I spotted this pink heart china at Nina Campbell that was absolutely m-a-d-e for Valentine's Day. Paired with some silver rimmed champagne coupes and candles and we'll have one chic tabletop!

Just in case your valentine is still searching for something special, I've rounded up some favorite baubles. A pair I wouldn't mind receiving come February 14: Elizabeth Cole's blondell earrings. I just can't get enough of her jewels, they're so timeless and elegant. I'm also loving this moonstone ring by Raw Jewelry....the simple setting is just my style and the stone is gorgeous.

I'm a huge fan of Florence Broadhurst and was more than delighted to see her prints pop up in the latest kate spade spring collection. The pops of pink and coral against the Japanese florals feels very right now. These images and the warm weather in Atlanta have me putting a spring in my step!

Valentine's Day is obviously a holiday for the ladies, but it's nice to show your affection for your beau. I usually like to pair something sweet, like this chocolate duo from Theo, with a thoughtful gift that will be enjoyed beyond February 14. I spotted this vintage brass football at one of my favorite Etsy shops, Estate Eclectic, and think it would make a wonderful addition to any man's office. I also love this pink handkerchief from Turnbull & Asser....isn't it incredibly dapper?!

With Valentine's Day just around the corner I've picked out some love-ly items to give or receive. My personal fave? This darling ring box with a heart placed on top from C. Wonder. Wouldn't you love to find some pretty baubles inside like these earrings from Rachel Leigh? I know I would!

Cecil Beaton's Fair Lady, Paris Hotel Boutique, $40.00 | Orange & White Highball Glasses, Antiquaria, set of 8 $56.00 | Kenneth Jay Lane Clear Link Necklace, Endless, $113.00 | Vintage Suzani Duffle, Eden, $120.00 | Hadley Bench, Jayson Home, $2,550.00 | Hot Pink Thonet Chair, ABC Home, $150.00

I've scoured some of my favorite haunts for this month's Market Finds, and even discovered a new one — Antiquaria — that I highly recommend you check out. It's filled with all sorts of vintage treasures like these fun striped highball glasses...a great set for only $56.00. I'm really loving this hot pink Thonet chair from ABC Home and am surprised they don't offer it in any other colors...seems like a no-brainer, no? I do love the hot pink though and am a longtime fan of the Thonet, which is a classic and is perfect for small dining areas. For any Audrey Hepburn/Cecil Beaton fans I found this vintage diary from the filming of My Fair Lady. Luckily for us, they have several copies available!
